Laboratory Technician

WHAT IS ON OFFER

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Laboratory Technician to join our team in Lea Green, St Helens. 

We’re looking for a highly attentive and proactive individual to become a part of our Precious Metals Laboratory department. You will be responsible for independently performing analytical methods to a high standard of precision and accuracy, delivering reliable, high-quality results within required reporting deadlines. 

You will play a vital role in supporting AHK’s laboratory services, where we are recognised as the centre of excellence across the AHK Group and therefore required to deliver operational excellence consistently.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Essential 

• Flexible and able to adapt to a changing environment

• Teamwork working alongside others with positivity and respect.
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively and professionally. 
• Proactive with the ability to work independently using own initiative and taking pride in work.
• Able to demonstrate a high degree of manual dexterity. 
• Keen interest in Chemistry and/or other scientific principles (desirable).

Required Work Experience

• Previous laboratory experience is desirable but not essential. 

Required Qualifications

• No formal qualifications required.
