The salary range for this position in Ontario is $90,000 to $130,000. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills and competencies, and unique qualifications.

Your role, your impact

As a C#/.NET Senior Developer, you'll contribute to the design, development, and evolution of enterprise applications supporting a variety of business and technology initiatives. Working across client engagements and internal projects, you'll leverage your expertise in C#, .NET, and Microsoft Azure to deliver scalable and reliable solutions. You'll collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to implement modern applications, support cloud transformation initiatives, and contribute to the successful delivery of complex technology projects.

Responsibilities

Your day-to-day

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using C#, .NET;

• Build and enhance cloud-native solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure services, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Azure SQL;

• Develop and support workflow-based applications and business process automation solutions;

• Contribute to the design and optimization of complex processing engines that handle high-volume transactions and business-critical operations;

• Design and optimize SQL Server and Azure SQL databases, including stored procedures, performance tuning, and data integration;

• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices, SOLID principles, and design patterns;

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git;

• Support application modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

Keys to your success

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience; 

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in software development with a strong focus on C# and .NET technologies;

• Extensive experience developing enterprise applications using .NET Core/.NET, ASP.NET Core, and Entity Framework Core;

• Strong experience designing and developing Azure-based applications and services;

• Experience working within Agile software development environments;

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, software architecture, and design patterns;

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, along with a demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Extra edge

• Experience developing modern user interfaces using React, Angular, Material UI, or similar frameworks, as well as designing and implementing workflow systems, business process automation platforms, or rules-based applications;

• Experience developing complex processing engines, transaction processing systems, or high-volume enterprise applications within financial services, banking, capital markets, or wealth management environments;

• Advanced SQL development skills, including stored procedures, functions, query optimization, and database design, along with knowledge of event-driven architectures, messaging, and distributed systems.
