    LDD (Limited Distribution Drug) Supervisor

    Job description

    Supervisor is expected to lead the LDD Case Management who act as liaison between company, patients, caregivers, insurance company and providers office. Expected tasks include:

    1. Monitor Case Managers compliance with LDD contracts requirements and appropriate patient service levels.
    2. Monitor the compliance of the requirements by each LDD contracts.
    3. Review and monitor LDD data according to each manufacturer agreement.
    4. Communicate with HUB if the LDD contract establish as required to manage the prescriptions.
    5. Participate in manufacturer meetings or calls as require by LDD contracts.
    6. Train and develop LDD Case Managers to meet and exceed LDD strategy deliverables.
    7. Create and manage employee schedules.
    8. Perform any task related to prescription management as prior authorization, billing or other administrative functions during periods of high volume, to maintain workflow and meet customer service imperatives. Also, during employee vacations, absent or any situation.
    9. Routinely monitor performance metrics to ensure proper adjustments are made in a timely manner.
      1. Monitoring and assessing performance through quantitative and/or qualitative methods identified by Company. Supervisor must be able to identify strengths, weaknesses, areas of opportunity and threats to performance in each of its team members (one-one)
      2. Executing Corrective Actions, as needed.
      3. Supervising Performance Improvement Plans, as needed.
      4. Ensure compliance with accreditation and federal or state requirements.
    10. Advise manager and /or pharmacy director about customer (patient, medical office, insurance, or manufacturer) complaints.

    11. Communicating Company Goals, Results and Management Information to employee as requested by Manager.

    12. Any other generally accepted task delegated by manager.

    13. Ensure team members communicates patient status to physician’s offices and /or patients.

    14. Promote a safe and professional workplace in any manner deemed possible by informing team members of professional, ethical and company’s standards regarding non-discriminatory and anti-harassment practices. 

    15. Promoting the Company values through actions. 

    16. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    Minimum requirement: 

    • Associate degree Diploma as Certified Pharmacy Technician is required.
    • Valid license as pharmacy technician is required.
    • Knowledge in management LDD drugs is preferred.
    • Minimum 1 year experience in customer service with knowledge of access processes to the most preferred benefits.
    • Excellent written and verbal communications (English and Spanish) is required.
    • Knowledge of PBM clinical operations preferred.
