The Commission Sales Lead is responsible for selling to and assisting customers. This position assists in the training of new Associates and supervising the store when a salaried Manager is not present. Also, in the absence of a salaried Manager, this position supervises hourly Associates in the store. Additionally, this position is a role model within the unit for abiding by and holding others accountable for the Code of Business Conduct and overall business practices, and leads by example with the highest level of integrity. Responsible for spending between 70-80% of time interacting with, and selling to customers. Full availability is required, including nights, evening and weekends.
* Works to personally achieve Company standards for Sales productivity
* Spends time on the sales floor in direct interaction with customers facilitating the sales process
* Follows the Company process for selling and Creating Customer Enthusiasm (CCE), and teaches, coaches and ensures that other Sales Associates use the process as well
* Follows the Company process for selling metrics, including, but not limited to Protection Agreements and soliciting credit applications, and sets an example for the store by achieving personal goals in these areas
* Supervises hourly Associates in the absence of a salaried Manager
* Acts as a key carrier, and follows all policies and procedures outlined in the key carrier agreement, including asset protection standards, opening and closing the store on a regular basis
* Partners with and sets an example for new Sales Associates, and is an integral part of the training experience
* Follows proper procedures at the point of sale
* Ensures a positive experience for every customer as measured by store surveys and mystery shops
* Ensures that the store operates in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations and Company ethics policies
* Performs other duties as assigned
