Job Overview

At PureGym, our team members are the heartbeat of the gym floor. This role is all about being visible, active, and engaged where it matters most - out on the gym floor, supporting members, setting standards, and creating an environment that feels welcoming, motivating, and unmistakably PureGym.

You’ll spend the majority of your time engaging with members during their workouts, keeping energy high, and ensuring the gym floor is clean, safe, and always ready for use. You’ll showcase what “great” looks like - from immaculate standards and well-organised equipment to proactive member support and genuine, friendly interactions.

By being present during peak periods, going above and beyond for members, and creating a space that feels like home, you’ll help make every visit to PureGym a positive and motivating experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet every member and guest with enthusiasm and a smile
• Engage with members on the gym floor, making them feel welcome, supported, and motivated
• Tour potential members around the club with the goal of signing them up for a membership
• Proactively sell introductory sessions with PureGym Personal Trainers
• Support members in a professional, energetic, and approachable manner
• Be highly visible on the gym floor during peak periods, keeping energy levels high
• Ensure gym floor standards are consistently high - clean, tidy, safe, and fully ready for member use at all times
• Actively participate in keeping the club spotless, including frequent bending, lifting, walking the floor, organising equipment, and resetting workout areas
• Execute all opening and closing procedures for both staffed and unstaffed hours to ensure the club runs smoothly
• Handle member requests and concerns with professionalism and a strong sense of urgency
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
