Distinguishing Features of the Class:
This is an appointed position charged with the responsibility of accurately recording and reporting the actions of the Board of Legislators’ committees. Provides assistance to the Clerk of the Board. Does related work as required.
Typical Work Activities:
Full Performance, Knowledges, Skills, Abilities and Personal Characteristics:
Good knowledge of office practices and techniques including taking and transcribing official proceedings, utilizing a personal computer and software applications; and preparing reports; good organizational skills; thorough command of the English language including knowledge and use of proper grammar; skill in proofreading; ability to maintain confidentiality of discussions, claims, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
A. An Associate's Degree OR
B. Two (2) years of clerical experience
