• Execute VAVE productivity projects to enhance product value and reduce costs while maintaining quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet quality standards and project timelines.
• Identify and implement opportunities for increased productivity and cost savings through value engineering techniques.
• Contribute to multiple projects, focusing on individual components or subsystems, and ensure adherence to QDC standards.
• Stay updated on advancements in technology, materials, and processes relevant to the business.
• Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering Fundamentals and knowledge of Product Development Process.
• 6 - 8 years of Engineering experience
• Proficient with 3D CAD software (preferably CREO)
• Thorough understanding of Engineering Fundamentals, including DFMEA, ECN, GD&T, production drawings, Tolerance analysis, Engineering calculations, and other product development techniques and tools.
• Good knowledge of various manufacturing processes and material selection for Ferrous Alloys, Non-ferrous Alloys, Plastics.
• Ability to interpret Finite Element Analysis (FEA) test results.
• Experience in Electromechanical Product Design
• Familiarity with root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques and Ability to generate innovative ideas.
• Skills in Value Methodology, with certification as a “Value Methodology Associate” by SAVE International is an added advantage
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
