As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will respond to security-related concerns with professionalism, communicate clearly, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other guests while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding property to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, wayfinding, and adherence to facility access practices.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and unusual conditions according to site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Required hospital vaccinations must be received.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
