Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Assurance in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a renowned cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol galleries, public spaces, and surrounding areas while maintaining a visible presence that helps deter security-related incidents. You will welcome visitors, provide directions, respond to concerns, and communicate professionally with staff and guests. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, volunteers, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a cultural institution.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of galleries, public areas, entrances, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions and maintenance concerns.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access as directed, and helping to maintain orderly visitor flow.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and location representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
