COMMUNITY/SCHOOL BASED CLINICIAN

Located primarily in the schools, the Community Clinical Counselor is responsible for clinical support of youth and families in homes, schools, our offices and other community settings. The successful candidate will provide competent support, prevention services, and integrated care to improve youth/family functioning and dynamics. The role includes coordination with schools, courts, social services, and behavioral health systems through contract and billable clinical services.

· Master’s degree in counseling or social work is preferred (LPCC or LISW)

· Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (LSW) with 2 years of experience working with youth/families in the behavioral health field.

· Ability to work a nontraditional schedule- evenings, weekends and be flexible.

· Valid Ohio Driver’s license and insurable under ABHS insurance provider.

· Able to work independently.

· Must possess good organizational and communication skills.

· Must demonstrate good judgment skills.

· Able to utilize basic problem-solving skills.

· Able to resolve crisis situations in the most clinically effective manner.
