Mission
Lead the DermaHealth Business Unit in Spain while serving as the Global Hub Lead for assigned dermatology topics. The role is accountable for delivering sustainable business growth in Spain and defining the global strategic direction, ensuring alignment across affiliates and cross-functional teams to maximize patient impact and business performance.
Key Responsibilities – Spain Leadership
Champion a high-performing Spain DermaHealth Sales and Marketing organization by inspiring District Sales Leaders and Product Managers to unlock their full potential, deliver exceptional results, and make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives.
- Own the development and execution of the portfolio strategy, business plans, budgets and performance objectives.
- Drive profitable growth through resource optimization, market expansion and customer-centric execution.
- Lead product launches, lifecycle management and commercial excellence initiatives.
- Leverage market insights, forecasting and competitive intelligence to support business decisions.
- Develop trusted partnerships with key healthcare professionals and external stakeholders.
- Ensure the highest standards of compliance, ethics and governance.
- Support Business Development and licensing assessments when required.
Key Responsibilities – Global Hub Leadership
- Own the global strategy for assigned dermatology topics and translate it into a clear long-term roadmap.
- Lead the design of global positioning, value proposition, evidence priorities and growth opportunities.
- Influence and align cross-functional global teams.
- Drive innovation by identifying emerging trends, unmet medical needs and future growth opportunities.
- Develop global capabilities, best practices and strategic tools to be deployed across affiliates.
- Facilitate international collaboration through Global Communities of Practice.
- Represent Almirall with international KOLs, scientific societies and strategic partners.
- Define global KPIs and monitor execution to ensure consistent worldwide implementation.
Education & Experience
- University degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration or related discipline.
- Extensive pharmaceutical Sales & Marketing leadership experience.
- Strong Dermatology or Specialty Care expertise.
- Track record of successful product launches and lifecycle management.
- Experience leading cross-functional matrix organizations.
- Previous global or regional strategic leadership experience is highly desirable.
