    Job description

We are looking for a commercially minded Lawyer to own B2B iGaming contracts and negotiations from initial request through to signature. You’ll work closely with teams across Aloplay to resolve blockers, assess risk and keep agreements moving. The ideal candidate brings strong iGaming contracting experience, sound judgment and a practical approach to getting deals done.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial and B2B agreements, including Marketing Agreements, Insertion Orders (IOs), Licensing Agreements, Service and Consultancy Agreements, NDAs, Supplier Agreements and other commercial contracts.
    • Take primary responsibility for B2B iGaming contracting, including agreements relating to iGaming platforms, software and SaaS providers, game providers, aggregators, payment solutions and PSPs, affiliates, suppliers, technology providers and other B2B integrations.
    • Independently manage multiple negotiations from initial business request through to execution, with minimal supervision, taking ownership of the full contract lifecycle.
    • Work closely with Commercial/Business Development, Finance, Product, Operations, Compliance, Risk and senior management to understand business requirements, coordinate approvals and deliver practical, commercially workable solutions.
    • Drive contracts to execution by identifying and resolving legal or commercial blockers, coordinating internal comments and approvals, managing counterparties and ensuring timely completion of outstanding actions.
    • Provide commercially focused legal advice, identifying and prioritizing contractual, legal and regulatory risks according to their actual business impact and recommending proportionate, practical solutions.
    • Support client and partner onboarding and work with Commercial/BD to ensure contracts progress efficiently from commercial agreement to signature.
    • Liaise with external legal counsel, regulatory advisers, and other professional advisers where specialist or local-law advice is required, while retaining internal ownership of the matter.
    • Maintain clear visibility of the contract and legal matter pipeline, including negotiation status, key actions, blockers, approvals, deadlines, and execution status.
    • Provide broader in-house legal support across operational areas, ensuring alignment with business objectives, contractual requirements, and applicable regulatory obligations.

    Requirements:

    • Law degree, preferably from a common law jurisdiction.
    • 4–6+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in a commercial or in-house environment. Candidates with less experience may be considered where they demonstrate exceptional relevant experience and capability.
    • Proven experience in the iGaming industry, preferably within a B2B iGaming business, platform, technology provider or related environment.
    • Strong B2B commercial contracting experience, with familiarity with iGaming/platform agreements, SaaS and technology agreements, licensing, PSP/payment arrangements, supplier, marketing, affiliate and consultancy/service-provider agreements and other B2B contracts.
    • Proven ability to independently manage complex negotiations and multiple matters simultaneously, from initial instruction through to execution.
    • Strong commercial and contractual risk assessment skills, with the ability to distinguish material legal, regulatory, financial and business risks from lower-priority issues and determine when escalation is required.
    • Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills, with a strong command of English, both written and spoken.
    • Proven ability to work effectively with Commercial/BD, Finance, Product, Operations, Compliance, Risk and senior management.
    • Excellent organizational and project-management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing matters, manage deadlines and maintain clear visibility over the legal and contract pipeline.
    • High level of professionalism, accountability and attention to detail, combined with a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach and the ability to work independently.
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment where responsiveness, sound legal judgment and timely contract execution are important.
