Responsibilities
- Physically demanding role reporting to the assigned foreman
- Work in a large manufacturing facility and yard in various indoor/outdoor conditions, heat/cold, and a fast-paced environment
- Perform complex tasks and operate small equipment
- Complete pre-use inspections of lifting gear
- Choose the appropriate rigging hardware and hitches
- Safely lift steel, pipes, and structural material
What We’re Looking For From You
- Over 3 years of experience loading trailers required
- Over 3 years of hands-on rigging experience in industrial or construction settings
- Minimum Grade 12 or GED
- Valid Driver’s License with a current 5-Year Driver’s Abstract
- Previous experience completing Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHAs)
- Good knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting/handling procedures
- Zoom Boom or Forklift ticket is an asset (not required)
- CSO Ticket
- Physically fit and agile: ability to lift up to 60 lbs, work at heights, and ascend/descend ladders
- Excellent communication, verbal, and listening skills with strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
- Ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proven safety attitude and excellent attendance history
