- Lead and coordinate day-to-day operations to ensure high-quality localization for video game titles across multiple platforms.
- Manage budgets, ensure timely invoicing and purchase orders.
- Act as the primary liaison between internal teams and clients, providing clear and timely updates.
- Facilitate kick-off and post-mortem meetings to refine workflows and improve project outcomes.
- Occasional support with booking voice talents – familiarity with Synchronstar and other booking platforms preferred.
- Provide regular status reports, flagging risks and tracking project progress.
- Ensure that all output meets IP-specific requirements, including tone, terminology, and style.
- Exceptional English communication skills both written and spoken (ideally B2)
- Exceptional German communication skills both written and spoken (ideally C1), additional languages are a plus.
- 2+ years of experience managing localization projects, ideally in the video game industry with an LSP or game publisher.
- A background working with or for AAA developers or major game studios is an advantage.
- Excellent client-facing, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple complex projects under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency with localization tools e.g. MS Excel, Python scripting is a plus.
- Fundamental familiarity with standard DAWs (in particular Pro Tools) is a plus.
