Credit Service Representative

What this role is about

You’ll help power an efficient, accurate credit workflow by owning:

• Customer‑centric inbound and outbound communication that meets company quality standards
• Investigation and verification of credit, employment, and financial information supporting mortgage underwriting
• Management of incoming and pending supplement requests with attention to detail and turnaround time
• Interpretation and review of credit reports, including complex scenarios such as bankruptcy or foreclosure
• Delivery of timely, accurate information to customers and internal teams
• Compliance with all Federal and State regulations, privacy standards, and internal procedures
• Accurate documentation and adherence to training manuals, workflows, and policy guidelines
• Effective routing of inquiries and close partnership with other internal departments

You’ll ensure supplements are processed quickly and accurately—supporting production goals for volume, turn‑time, and quality.

Close partnership with production teams

You’ll work closely with credit operations, underwriting support, and customer‑facing teams to:

• Prioritize supplement requests
• Resolve credit or documentation issues
• Maintain accuracy and service levels in a call‑center environment
• Ensure customers receive consistent, compliant, high‑quality communication

What you bring

• Experience in the financial services or mortgage services industry (required)
• Strong understanding of credit services, reports, and regulatory considerations
• Customer service experience in a professional environment
• Ability to interpret complex credit scenarios (foreclosure, bankruptcy, etc.)
• Excellent communication, decision‑making, persuasion, and problem‑resolution skills
• Comfort working in a fast‑paced, goal‑oriented, team‑based environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Bilingual Spanish/English HIGHLY preferred

• Willingness to work the PST time zone
