ICF Shift Lead

Career Details:

We are seeking a passionate 2nd Shift Lead to oversee Direct Support Professionals on assigned shift and assist with facility coverage and administrative duties. Employees will engage with clients on a routine basis, utilize cognitive behavioral techniques in order to foster and promote positive interpersonal skills. Employees will assist in the implementation of behavior support plans and individual program plans. This position requires working knowledge of assigned program policies and procedures, concept of active treatment and facility rules and regulations. The Shift Lead is responsible to provide duties to the ICF/DD and up to 15 clients. The 2nd Shift Lead is responsible for assisting the Program Manager with the supervision of 10-15 staff.

Open Shifts Include:

2nd Shift: 3pm - 11pm (Must be able to work 1-2 weekend days every week)

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required. Associate’s degree in criminal justice, human services, social work, psychology or another related field is preferred. 

Experience: Two years’ experience serving DD population in a residential setting in lieu of degree

MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE

Skills and Abilities:

Computer Skills: Proficient in all Microsoft office applications and skilled in operation of personal computer, peripheral equipment (e.g., copier, fax, printers).
