Silicon Design Infrastructure Hardware/Software Engineer
THE ROLE:
This is a great opportunity to develop and maintain world-class software for designing hardware in a fast-paced production environment on the very edge of modern technology! The Central CAD team at AMD writes software to automate a hardware design flow that makes it easy to efficiently use the thousands of cores and terabytes of RAM in AMD’s data centers. We work with various design teams who use our software to construct next-generation GPUs, CPUs and APUs with industry-standard EDA tools.
THE PERSON:
You enjoy figuring out how things work and modifying them to work better. You are constantly helping other people with their technical problems and then improving the system to avoid issues in the future. You are a team player with excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with other engineers, as well as with other business units across different sites and time zones. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, are detail-oriented, and are willing to learn and ready to take on new challenges. KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:
