About The Position
At Ameren’s Innovation Implementation and Strategy team, you will work in a fast paced, dynamic environment that fosters innovation and collaboration. The Innovation Intern - Robotics/AI/Software dev/OT Engineer positions lead/assist challenging projects, or conduct research in areas of advanced technology that contributes toward the Company’s strategic investment in forward- thinking initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
● Research and develop AI/Robotics, IT/OT software and hardware technology solutions as needed by specific business segments and directed by business needs.
● Research and test advanced business and modeling tools for company adoption.
● Assist software/hardware development and support by creating requirements.
● Design specific software/hardware components to meet various business needs.
● Provide technical assistance to developmental projects within Company segments.
● Create and deliver reports and presentations of project work and results.
Qualifications
Registered as a full-time student at an accredited University. Completion of 40 college credit hours toward a Bachelor of Science degree required, preferably in Engineering, Computing Science or related fields. A cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above is preferred. Junior, Senior or Master’s or PhD student with prior research and work experience preferred.

In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate: Strong research and analytical skills, ability to work effectively as part of a team and good communication skills.

Ameren’s selection process includes a series of interviews, both behavioral and technical. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates.

Compensation:

We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the salary offered.

$21.00 - $30.00
