Human Resources Paid Intern Part Time

American Plastics, headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, is a leading designer and manufacturer of innovative plastic-injection molded products for the household & garage storage and commercial cleaning end-markets. We are searching for a Human Resources Intern, this position is located in Sycamore, OH. HR Intern position located in Findlay OH, we are looking for a Part Time HR Intern and the hours a based upon the candidate’s school schedule.

This position will report to the Human Resources Manager, this is an onsite position, and we will not be paying for relocation. This is a paid internship. You must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting Talent Acquisition in sourcing new candidates Updating company databases by inputting new employee contact information and employment details.
• Screening potential hourly production employees' resumes/application to identify suitable candidates to fill vacancies.
• Assisting in posting job advertisements to job boards and social media platforms.
• Launching and completing onboarding process via the applicant tracking system.
• Assisting in coordinating new hire orientations.
• Assisting in responding to staff inquiries regarding HR policies, employee benefits, and other HR-related matters.
• Maintain monthly team member newsletter.
• Help plan and execute team member recognition and retention initiatives.
