Ozark National Life Insurance is hiring a full-time Mutual Funds Assistant to join our team!
The hours for this position are Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, on site at our downtown Kansas City, MO office location.
Overview
The Mutual Funds Assistant will directly support N.I.S. Financial Services, Ozark National Life, Registered Principals, and Customer Service. This role focuses on data entry, application processing, and administrative support while ensuring accuracy, organization, and timely completion of tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent service to customers and Registered Representative Services.
- Review and enter data into AS400, as well as copy and image new applications.
- Prepare and send correspondence to agents and clients.
- Review and forward additional purchases to various mutual fund companies.
- Process address changes and ensure updates are communicated to mutual fund companies.
- Complete monthly blotter updates.
- Add or detach policies to new and existing mutual funds.
- Open and distribute incoming mail to employees and departments.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual projects.
- File and image correspondence accurately.
Required Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new procedures and technology.
- Ability to prioritize workload effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous data entry or administrative experience, preferably in financial services or insurance.
