Role Summary
Ensure compliance with the Gujarat Prohibition Act, 1949, and applicable excise regulations concerning industrial alcohol and regulated substances. Manage statutory documentation, licences, regulatory reporting, and coordination with government authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with applicable prohibition and excise laws.
- Manage licences, permits, passes, renewals, and statutory approvals.
- Maintain stock, consumption, movement, and permit-related records.
- Prepare and submit statutory returns and regulatory reports.
- Coordinate with Prohibition & Excise and other government authorities.
- Support regulatory inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.
- Monitor the storage, movement, issuance, and use of industrial alcohol.
- Track regulatory changes and guide stakeholders on compliance requirements.

Additional(Safety) Responsibilities:
- Ensure safe storage, handling, transportation, and usage of industrial alcohol and regulated substances.
- Maintain compliance with EHS, fire-safety, and statutory requirements.
- Verify proper labelling, segregation, security, and inventory control.
- Ensure availability of SDS, emergency procedures, and required PPE.
- Report any leakage, spillage, misuse, or safety incident immediately.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelors Degree (B Sc/B Com) - Required
- Master Degree (M Sc/ M Com) - Preferred
Experience:
- 8 years or more in 10+ Years
