We are currently looking for an Manager – General Ledger (m/f/d) for our Finance Team, based in our main office in Hamburg.

Your tasks

• Preparation and quality assurance of monthly reporting package for the parent company according to IFRS
• Preparation and quality assurance of annual financial statements according to HGB
• Implementation and further development of the Group accounting guidelines
• Proactive improvement of internal processes and structures in accounting
• Responsibility for Audits as well as Tax advisory
• Monitoring of the internal control systems 
• Responsibility in accounting for deferred taxation
• Strong collaboration with the controlling team
• Most importantly Team management and development

Your profile: 

• You have successfully completed university studies with focus on Accounting or Finance 
• You have solid professional experience in a corporate and/or with an audit/tax consultancy firm 
• You have an excellent knowledge of international accounting (IFRS) as well as a strong understanding of the core processes in financial accounting (GL, AR, AP, Taxes)
• You work in a proactive way with "Hands-On" mentality and a strong sense of responsibility
• You speak German and English fluently 
• A knowledge of Oracle Cloud and HFM is a plus
