 *Wage Range: $25 - $30 / hour

*Wage Compensation Range is Based on Credentials and Experience

Automotive Technician / Auto Mechanic

Job ResponsibilitiesPerform high quality work in a timely manner as assigned and according to work orders while adhering to automotive industry standards.

• Inspecting / diagnosing and testing vehicles while recording findings so vehicle can be repaired correctly the first time
• Providing labor and parts estimates for additional repairs
• Explaining mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to customers
• Learning new technical information and techniques, as well as staying current with rapidly changing technology.

Job Requirements

Must be a problem solver who is team-oriented, flexible, has great communication skills and is focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.

• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
• Two more years of experience
• Working knowledge of standard shop equipment and tools
• ASE or other certifications a plus
• Personnel are frequently required to walk, sit, climb, crawl, kneel, bend, stoop, lift, talk, see, hear, feel, use clear speech and operate machinery.
• Ability to employ discretion and confidentiality in sensitive areas.
