    Job description

At Anchor Construction, we don’t just build projects—we build a culture of excellence, teamwork, and dedication. We take pride in our skills and expertise across all types of commercial construction, but what truly sets us apart is our commitment to core values and a positive work environment. Every project is unique, and we approach each one with a tailored strategy, ensuring we understand our clients, their goals, and what it takes to deliver quality results on time, every time. We bring energy, enthusiasm, and craftsmanship to everything we do. Anchor is a company that values hard work, teamwork, and professional growth.

    Job Summary

Anchor CM is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to support the successful planning, execution, and completion of commercial build-out construction projects. This role works closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to ensure schedules, documentation, and communication remain organized and on track. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and demonstrates strong organizational and coordination skills.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist Project Managers with day-to-day coordination of commercial build-out projects from pre-construction through closeout
    • Maintain and track project schedules, budgets, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and meeting minutes
    • Coordinate communication between internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients
    • Prepare and distribute project documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and progress reports
    • Track material procurement and deliveries to ensure alignment with project timelines
    • Support permitting processes, inspections, and compliance with local building codes and safety standards
    • Monitor project progress and flag potential schedule or cost impacts
    • Maintain organized and accurate project files in project management software
    • Assist with project closeout activities, including punch lists, warranties, and final documentation

    Qualifications

    • 1–3 years of experience in construction coordination or project support, preferably in commercial build-out projects
    • Strong understanding of construction processes, terminology, and documentation
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or similar)
    • Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities

    Work Environment

    • Combination of office and active construction site environments
    • May require occasional site visits and extended hours to meet project deadlines

    What We Offer

    Compensation:

This position offers a competitive base salary plus commission tied directly to construction project performance. Total compensation is performance-based and reflects experience, project volume, and results.

    Comprehensive Insurance Coverage:

    • Medical Plan: We cover 50% of the selected medical benefits plan.
    • Dental & Vision: 100% coverage for employees, so you’re fully taken care of.
    • AFLAC: Gain peace of mind with access to additional coverage, including Accident Insurance, Cancer Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance, Disability Insurance, Hospital Confinement Indemnity Insurance, Life Insurance, and AD&D Insurance.

    Who We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking a like-minded, positive individual with a "get-it-done" attitude—someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and finishes tasks with focus and accountability. The right candidate is adaptable, solution-oriented, and open to change, understanding that growth comes with challenges, and is excited to be part of that journey.

    You should be someone who:

    • Embraces new opportunities and is motivated to grow with the company
    • Can handle the “growing pains” of a scaling business and remain flexible under pressure
    • Works well both independently and as part of a team
    • Communicates effectively and keeps a positive, professional outlook—even when plans shift
    • Wants to contribute to building something bigger and be part of a long-term vision
