Maran Tankers Management Inc. one of the world’s leading tanker operators and part of the Angelicoussis Group is looking for an experienced and motivated Operator.
Key Responsibilities
Managing and supervising Operations of the vessels assigned to her/his responsibility.
Responsible for the operational efficiency of company vessels.
Guidance and instructions to Masters relevant to voyage and charter party instructions, breaking warranties, cargo operations, bunkering, communications (including position and other operational reports).
Voyage planning, estimation and analysis (at the completion of each voyage).
Communication with Commercial, Technical, Freight Collection and other departments.
Candidate must have
University Degree graduate in a shipping-related subject from a recognized University (STEM graduates with working or internship experience are also welcomed to apply).
2-3 years of working experience as an Operator, would be also an advantage.
Proficiency in the English Language (written and oral) is a firm requirement.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
