    Job description

This is a Hybrid position with occasional travel.
The HALOS Home Team Manager provides operational leadership for the HALOS Home Team clinician workforce to expand patient access, accelerate timely Starts of Care, strengthen staffing capacity, and support continuity of care across assigned regions. The position leads clinician performance, deployment, engagement, and retention while coordinating with Recruiting, Intake, Clinical Operations, Scheduling, Case Management, Payroll, and Regional Leadership. Through workforce planning, cross-functional problem solving, and consistent performance oversight, the manager ensures HALOS resources are prepared and strategically aligned with organizational and patient-care priorities.
    In this role, you will:
    • Lead the HALOS Home Team clinician workforce and create a culture of accountability, engagement, collaboration, and excellence in patient care.
    • Establish performance expectations and ensure effective coaching, development, recognition, retention, attendance management, evaluation, and corrective action in partnership with Human Resources and Clinical Leadership.
    • Develop workforce and deployment strategies that align clinician capacity with new referrals, timely Starts of Care, high-priority staffing needs, temporary coverage gaps, and business-continuity demands.
    • Optimize clinician availability, productivity, utilization, and readiness while minimizing avoidable downtime and disruption to patient care.
    • Partner with Recruiting and Clinical Leadership to attract, select, onboard, and prepare qualified clinicians who meet HALOS program and patient-acuity needs.
    • Coordinate cross-functional activities with Intake, Clinical Operations, Scheduling, Case Management, Payroll, Recruiting, and Regional Leadership to remove barriers to admission, staffing, and continuity of care.
    • Maintain effective communication with clinicians, branch leaders, patients, and families during initial staffing and early transition periods to support successful placement and satisfaction.
    • Monitor program performance, staffing trends, workforce metrics, and operational outcomes; communicate results and recommend improvements to Regional Leadership.
    • Provide timely leadership during staffing, scheduling, payroll, clinician-performance, patient, and interdepartmental escalations.
    • Ensure HALOS workforce operations comply with company policies, applicable regulatory requirements, credentialing standards, documentation expectations, and patient-safety requirements.
    Qualifications
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related field preferred. An equivalent combination of education and relevant healthcare leadership experience may be considered.
    • Minimum three (3) years of experience in healthcare operations, workforce management, staffing, scheduling, or a related field, including demonstrated experience supervising employees and managing performance.
    • Experience coordinating cross-functional operations with Recruiting, Clinical, Scheduling, Intake, Payroll, and Operations teams preferred.
