Van Lue Veterinary Surgical is a surgical referral practice seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician or someone with similar experience level; prior experience as a surgical technician in a surgical specialty hospital or academic university position is a plus. This position is eligible for a $500 sign-on bonus, payable after successful completion of the 90-day probationary period.
Extensive experience with basic lab work, venipuncture, IV catheter placement, fluid therapy and patient care is expected. We are seeking an individual who has advanced anesthesia nursing skills, the ability to multi-task and maintain a professional demeanor in a sometimes stressful environment. You must be flexible and willing to take on diverse responsibilities, with a desire to grow professionally.
