    Looking for a locum role that gives you flexibility, clinical variety, and the support of an experienced team? Vetcare has opportunities available across our network of companion animal clinics throughout Auckland.

    Whether you're based near Grey Lynn, Glenfield, Glen Innes, Botany, Milford, or Te Rapa, there's a place for you in the Vetcare family, and whether you're looking for a few days a month, short-term assignments, or longer-term locum work, we'd love to hear from you.

    What You'll Do

    • Provide high-quality companion animal medical and surgical care
    • Manage a varied caseload across consultations and surgery
    • Build trusted relationships with clients and their pets
    • Collaborate closely with veterinarians, veterinary nurses, and support staff
    • Maintain excellent clinical standards and patient care
    • Contribute positively to clinic culture and teamwork

    What You'll Need

    • Registration with the Veterinary Council of New Zealand
    • Experience in companion animal practice
    • Confidence across general practice medicine and routine surgery
    • Strong communication and client relationship skills
    • A collaborative, adaptable, and team-focused approach
    • The ability to quickly integrate into new teams and clinic environments
