School Social Worker (Middle School)
Location: Lincoln Park, MI
Start Date: 26-27 School Year
Salary: $57,500 - $78,000 annualized salary (W2, paid weekly) based on experience and qualifications

About the Opportunity:
AnthroMed Education is looking for a dedicated School Social Worker to join our team in Lincoln Park, MI. This is a full-time position for the 2026-2027 school year. As a School Social Worker with AnthroMed, you’ll join a dynamic, collaborative team that values student success, personal growth, and professional development. Caseload and Environment:
- Targeted Caseload: Middle school students across two buildings.
- Focus: Supporting learners across a variety of needs/programs - including CI and EI programs. There are three other social workers in this building who support the students in general education and ASD classrooms.
- Dedicated Space: You will have a private, dedicated office space in the building to conduct sessions and meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect social work services to students in need of emotional, behavioral, and social support.
- Push in to classrooms to provide therapy while supporting and collaborating with teachers.
- Work together with the multidisciplinary team to prioritize student success and safety.
- Conduct IEP evaluations and contribute to the development of meaningful student goals.
- Facilitate small group and individual sessions.
- Lead and support the implementation of BIPs and FBAs.
- Participate in IEP and 504 Plan meetings to advocate for student needs.
- Support students and families in accessing community resources.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
- Michigan School Social Work Certification (Required)
- Experience working with preschool-aged children is strongly preferred along with prior school-based experience.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
