Field Service Engineer (m/f/x)

As a Field Service Engineer, you are the face of Anton Paar and play a crucial role in supporting our customers.

You are responsible for the maintenance and calibration of advanced measurement and analytical instruments. You work independently at customer sites across a wide range of industries.

In this varied role, you combine technical expertise with a strong customer focus. You analyze technical issues, provide effective solutions, and ensure that our instruments perform at their best. In addition, you provide users with advice and training, helping our customers get the most out of their equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers by phone and email.
• Troubleshoot technical issues on-site and carry out service and repair activities, including the evaluation of malfunctioning instruments.
• Coordinate and perform on-site repairs and preventive maintenance in accordance with established procedures and standards.
• Create and maintain service reports for completed customer visits in our CRM system.
• Communicate and collaborate with other teams, including Applications, Helpdesks, and Service Administration.
• Perform administrative tasks related to the CRM service module, ensuring that all support tickets and service orders are correctly registered and maintained.
• Manage your own inventory, spare parts, and tools.

• A degree in Engineering, Electronics, or an equivalent technical qualification.
• Experience in servicing laboratory or analytical instruments is an advantage.
• The ability to work independently, combined with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Good administrative skills and the ability to work accurately with our CRM system.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Netherlands and, occasionally, to our headquarters for technical training.
• Fluency in both Dutch and English.
• Ideally based in the central region of the Netherlands.
• A valid driving licence.
