Cardiac Surgical Technologist

Location: Delray Beach, FL

AP Health is a private practice comprised of advanced practice providers and surgical technicians. We provide perioperative services to hospitals, surgeons, and surgery centers. We partner with facilities to offer highly trained and knowledgeable providers in many specialties.

AP Health is seeking an experienced Surgical Technician to join our team in Delray Beach, FL. A successful candidate must have at least 2+ years of experience in cardiac surgery. This is an exciting opportunity to join a distinguished team that delivers top tier care.

This is NOT a travel, locum, placement, or per diem position. AP Health is not a staffing company.

What you will do:

• Function as a Surgical Technician in the Operating Room
• Prepare sterile instrument table for your procedures
• Assemble supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedures
• Assist the surgical team by passing instruments, sponges, and sutures
• Monitor patients throughout the procedure
• Rotating on call responsibilities

What do you need:

• 2+ years experience functioning as a Surgical Technician in cardiac surgery
• 1 year experience with independent call
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist required
• Active BLS and ACLS
• 30 minute call range to Delray Beach
