    Job description

    Role Summary: 

    The Media Monitoring Intern will support the collection, analysis, and reporting of media intelligence across traditional, digital, and social media platforms. Working alongside experienced communications and research professionals, you will leverage media monitoring and social listening tools to track conversations, measure media impact, identify key trends, and contribute to client deliverables. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in media analysis, research, and reporting within a fast-paced, collaborative environment while developing a strong understanding of the regional and global media landscape.

    Responsibilities:

    • Monitor and analyze data through media monitoring/social listening platforms 
    • Design and implement complex search queries across a number of topics 
    • Regularly conduct QA of data feeds to ensure quality standards 
    • Analyze and perform calculations across media consumption metrics
    • Stay informed on news cycle domestically and internationally
    • Work closely with broader research, editorial, and communications teams to help support and inform project outcomes
    • Produce timely, logical, and concise analytic reports, documents, assessments, studies, and briefing materials in formats including Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), electronic/soft copy matrices, and/or web-enabled formats.
    • Work with the government advisory center team

    Requirements:

    • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions 
    • Attention to Detail: Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously 
    • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize information into clear, actionable deliverables 
    • Language: Fluent in English and Arabic
    • Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams 
    • Software Proficiency: Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools is required.
