Compensation: $20-$35/Hourly
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Fire Sprinkler Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and documenting fire protection systems to ensure compliance with NFPA 25 standards and other applicable codes. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct fire sprinkler and fire alarm inspections in accordance with NFPA 25 standards.
- Perform fire hydrant flow testing and fire pump testing.
- Accurately document inspections, testing results, and any deficiencies.
- Communicate findings, recommendations, and required repairs with customers and internal team members.
- Ensure all work complies with company policies, NFPA standards, and industry safety requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining professional relationships.
Qualifications:
- Licensed or able to obtain Fire Sprinkler Inspector and Fire Alarm Inspector certifications through the Oklahoma Department of Labor.
- Knowledge of NFPA 25 and related fire protection standards.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Fire Sprinkler Technician or Fire Alarm Technician, or at least 6 months of experience as a Fire Sprinkler or Fire Alarm Inspector.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Preferred NICET Certification in Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems.
- Familiarity with inspection software such as Inspect Point (preferred, not required).
