Job Summary
APIC Solutions is hiring Low Voltage Technicians to join our Tucson team. In this role, you'll install, terminate, test, and support low voltage systems including structured cabling, access control, video surveillance (CCTV), and audio-visual (AV) systems – working on projects from rough-in through commissioning. Whether you're just starting out or bring years of hands-on experience, you'll follow industry standards and safety practices while delivering quality installations for our clients. As you grow, you'll have the opportunity to take on troubleshooting, mentoring, and small-team leadership.
Compensation & Benefits
- $18–$30 per hour, depending on experience
What You'll Do
- Pull, route, terminate, and test structured cabling – copper and fiber (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, coax) – including cable support infrastructure, rack builds, and documentation
- Install and wire access control hardware (electric strikes, maglocks, power supplies, control panels) and support testing, verification, and commissioning
- Install IP cameras and CCTV equipment, including aiming, focusing, and troubleshooting camera, power, and network connectivity
- Install AV systems – displays, video walls, projectors, speakers, and control panels – and support integration, testing, and cable management
- Follow safety procedures and company standards; keep job sites clean and professional
- Work effectively independently or as part of a team; mentor junior technicians as your experience grows
- Document work performed and report issues promptly
What You Need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0–5 years of low voltage installation experience – we're glad to train the right candidate
- Valid driver's license and the ability to commute to job sites across Southern Arizona
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work comfortably on ladders, lifts, and at heights
- Strong attention to detail and organization

Preferred Qualifications:
- BICSI Installer or Technician certification
- CTS or CTS-I certification
- Fiber optic termination experience
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Manufacturer training (Lenel, Verkada, Avigilon, Axis, Crestron, Extron, etc.)
