Display Core Technology Electrical Engineer

We are looking for an engineer who can architect the next generation display technology for various Apple products. In this unique position, you will have first-hand access to novel display technologies, and will be responsible for characterizing and optimizing electro-optical performance, and pushing the limits of panel technology, proposing compensation algorithms for SoC or other silicons, prototyping the target performance in executive demo, and supporting product development to mass production.

An average day in this wide-dynamic position could include hands-on characterization of electro-optical performance, scripting for lab-level measurement automation, image processing for data analysis, proposing design iterations for panel or new algorithms, working with various vendors and cross-functional teams to align the calibration flow and strategies, system integration of the proposal(s), prototype demo for management, presentation and documentation of the proposals for cross-functional teams.
