We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary Teacher to join our Options Homeschool Program. As a part-time teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to our students. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons to elementary-aged students in a homeschool setting.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student growth and development.
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to support their academic journey.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and homeschool coordinators to align curriculum and teaching strategies.
- Stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies and incorporate innovative practices into your lessons.
- Build strong relationships with students and their families, ensuring a supportive and nurturing educational experience.
- Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions to enhance your teaching skills and stay connected with the school community.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress, ensuring compliance with school policies.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on their child's academic performance and overall well-being.
Qualifications
- A valid teaching license or certification in Elementary Education is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a homeschool or alternative education setting.
