About Operations

Operations has a diverse set of responsibilities, including settling and recording thousands of transactions per day, identifying, and mitigating all operational risk, and partnering with technology to develop and implement low touch, streamlined processes. The Operations department continually seeks ways to improve while actively supporting the development of new business, structures, and markets.

The Role

We are seeking a Salesforce Portal Support to join the Operations Team. This role is responsible for ensuring Salesforce effectively supports client engagement, business development activities, workflow automation, and client requests.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage users, profiles, roles, permission sets, security controls, and governance processes.
• Support data integrity through data imports, exports, audits, and ongoing data governance.
• Maintain system documentation, operating procedures, and platform best practices.
• Provide end-user support, training, and documentation to improve adoption and operational effectiveness.
• Onboard new users to the AQR Flex Porta built on the Salesforce platform.
• Respond to ad hoc requests from internal and external interested parties, such as PMs, compliance, finance, custodians, and administrators.
• Provide helpdesk support for staff using Salesforce and related tools.
• Troubleshoot system issues and respond to user requests.
• Support data imports and updates.
• Manage support ticket queues and SLAs.

What You’ll Bring

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, information systems, or related field.
• 1-3+ years of hands-on Salesforce or CRM experience within a business-facing environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to support Sales, Client, Business Development, or CRM-related business functions.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality.

Preferred:

• Financial services experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with datasets.
• Salesforce administrator certification is not required.

The salary range for this role is expected to be $75,000 to $85,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is accurate for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, depending upon factors such as skills, experience, location, or other business and organizational needs. This wage range may also be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
