    About the Company

    Founded in 2007, ARaymondlife is a French pharmaceutical company that designs and produces packaging solutions for the healthcare industries. 70% of the revenue is generated in the US with a double digit growth on sales.

    Its recognized know-how in thermoplastic injection and bi-injection allows it to develop innovative solutions and offer the market global responses, in collaboration with international industrial partners. The company has invested in a new plant allowing free capacity and state of the art process to comply with the annex 1 requirements.

    ARaymondlife offers its own patented RayDyLyo® pharmaceutical packaging range, developed internally by its design office. RayDyLyo is a plastic press-fit closure for injectable vials and is an alternative to the aluminum cap.

    Concerning the job description

    To support its growth in North America and Canada, ARaymondlife is looking for a Business Developer (F/H) with strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical packaging and sterile manufacturing ecosystem.

    The role will focus on developing new business opportunities across the North United states and Canada, with pharmaceutical companies, biotech organizations, CDMOs and sterile fill-finish manufacturers.

    Aligned to customer needs, you will promote ARLife as the solutions innovator of healthcare packaging to increase the turnover in USA. 

    The ideal candidate is a driven business developer with hunter mindset, a strong pharma industry network with scientific and technical background to understand and address customer requirements in sterile pharmaceutical packaging. 

    Role & Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Sales Director of ARaymondLife and in connection with the Director of ARaymond Life North America and the French team, you will take on the following tasks:

    • As the Business Developer, responsible for Business Development for North America, generate and manage new leads for the US. Support by setting up meetings, promoting our innovative products and building relationships with new potential customers.

    • Research emerging trends, direct marketing activities, and manage existing alliances.

    • Collaborate relationships with the vial, stoppers, fill/finish machine, and sterilization suppliers.

    • US Trade show representative for ARLife - Attend local tradeshows. Create new business leads, evaluate trade show to ensure value-creation.

    • Be the US local primary resource for all support and needs. This includes customers, suppliers, ARLife colleagues etc. Organize visits (meeting with customers, booking and logistics) when French team will support the US business.

    • Understand and formalize the needs of customers (technical requirements)

    • Negotiate with customers, prepare, and send quotations. Prepare and send quotations with Sales Force (and use for all leads)

    • Follow up of the customer’s satisfaction.

    Education/Experience

    • A bachelor’s degree or master’s in business/sales; in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline

    • At least 8 years’ experience in business development, strategic sales or account development within the pharmaceutical industry

    • At least 8 years' in pharmaceutical primary packaging, sterile packaging, injectable drug delivery, aseptic fill-finish or a closely related field

    • Experience in managing complex, technical and long-cycle sales involving multiple stakeholders.Strong verbal and written communication skills

    • Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office Applications), sales force and SAP.

    Soft Skills

    • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

    • Strong hunter mindset and demonstrated ability to develop new business.

    • Strong network and relation building capabilities within pharma industry 

    • Thorough understanding of Life product, benefits to customers, quality standards, gamma sterilization, validated product solutions, etc.

    • Customer oriented and value-based selling capabilities

    • Structured, analytical and results-oriented approach

    • High degree of autonomy, ownership and accountability

    • Creative, innovative, and methodical approach to process.

    • Must have an active passport and be able to travel within North America and Internationally.

    • Travel amount may exceed 50%.
