We are hiring a Founding Content & Social to own how the world hears about us. You will capture, write, edit, film, and publish all of our content to turn our company and team into the most recognizable voices in startup legal.
This is an in-person role based in San Francisco.

Own social, video, and brand content end to end
Ghostwrite for team members whose audiences you will grow from the ground up
Build the content engine that turns demand into qualified meetings

Take on responsibility far beyond your years of experience
We have an extraordinarily high bar and expect relentless, consistent execution. You are expected to show up every day with urgency, ownership, and a positive attitude, and to deliver results consistently.
Own the social strategy and the calendar across LinkedIn, X, and other social platforms
Ghostwrite for our team and turn ideas into posts that generate demand
Capture and edit video content that creates more awareness and demand
Design graphics, carousels, thumbnails, and event assets for content
Run the brand accounts and build them into a real audience
Move fast on reactive moments and turn them into content
Amplify every launch, event, and conference
Measure everything and kill what isn't working, with a weekly report on what performed and what changes because of it
You are a full-stack content create. You write, capture, edit, design, and publish content without needing support from others. You have a few years of experience and operate like a true owner: ambitious, curious, resilient, and relentless about getting things done.
You write thoughtful content that generates demand
You can make a clean graphic or carousel in Figma, Canva, or ChatGPT
You can shoot decent video on a phone and cut it in CapCut, Premiere, or Descript
You are online and understand what's performing on LinkedIn and X each week
You can hold three voices in your head at once and write convincingly in each
You are comfortable measuring your own work and killing what isn't performing
You take complete ownership of outcomes and find a way to deliver
You are exceptionally organized and strong at coordinating and planning
You take on challenges far outside your comfort zone
You hold yourself to an exceptionally high standard and expect to keep raising it
You want to build one of the most exceptional content engines ever created
Day 7: You’re publishing content that is generating demand
Day 14: You’re analyzing what’s working, hypothesizing new angles, and scaling content
Day 30: Company accounts are growing and you’ve built a v1 content engine
Day 60: You own a repeatable content engine and continuously amplify and scale it
2-4 years creating content at a startup, agency, or for a creator; bonus if you’ve ran a content agency
A portfolio or accounts you can point to; we care far more about what you've published than where you worked
You are relentless, and will work 12+ hours per day, 6 days a week (yes, including weekends)
You thrive in an environment with an exceptionally high bar, where everyone is expected to go above and beyond
You own outcomes from start to finish and have a track record of never dropping the ball
You move at an incredible pace and have insane urgency to deliver results
You respond to setbacks with resilience, resourcefulness, and a determination to find a way
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $110,000 – $150,000
