ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking for a proactive and organised Health, Safety & Training Coordinator to join our team and play a hands-on role in supporting a safe, compliant and healthy workplace. Working closely with operational teams, you’ll help keep our HST systems on track, coordinate health and injury matters, monitor safety actions, and contribute to investigations, risk assessments and continuous improvement.

This is a role for someone who enjoys being across the detail, building strong relationships and getting things done. If you’re practical, approachable and passionate about supporting people and improving safety outcomes, this could be the opportunity for you.

ABOUT YOU

• Demonstrated experience in an HST role, with a strong focus on training within the Queensland coal mining sector.
• Experience developing and delivering engaging online training courses.
• Practical experience using and maintaining Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Intermediate to advanced skills across Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge and understanding of Queensland coal mining legislation.
• A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE).
• Formal Health and Safety qualifications or equivalent industry experience is desirable.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to liaise confidently across all levels.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines within an operational environment.
• The ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team.
