Maintenance/Janitor - Basic

Pay $18.00- $20.00 per hour (DOE)

Job Summary/Basic Functions:

This individual will perform plant and grounds cleaning to insure sanitary and neat operation of the facility.

Specific Duties/Essential Functions:

1. Follow and maintain daily cleaning schedule
2. Cleaning of restrooms, Handrails, Floors, Vestibules and Stairwells
3. Must be able to sweep, scrub and mop floors as necessary.
4. Collect and dispose of facility refuse.
5. Replace/stock cleaning supplies for restrooms and storage area.

Additional Responsibilities:

1. Must be able to safely operate a tow motor, floor sweeper and floor scrubber.
2. Maintains outside grounds.
3. May be called on to perform various duties as required by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications/Education/Experience:

1. High school education.
2. Must be able to work with little or no supervision.
3. Manual dexterity and strength/stamina to perform tasks.
4. Must be able to communicate and work well with others.
