Job Description:
- We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to work on a dynamic team designing, building, and integrating micro services in a distributed system. The right individual for this role must be capable of leading others and building applications in Java using modern architectures.
- This role will be responsible for Web Services development and will contribute to aspects of the software delivery lifecycle in requirements, design, prototype, development and troubleshooting of enterprise systems, middleware, and interfaces with a focus on Healthcare domain.
Essential Job Functions:
- Must have B.S. in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- An advanced degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is highly desired.
- Minimum 8 years of IT software development experience with a background in Java, J2EE and Front End technologies with full stack development.
- Strong experience as a Web Services Developer with exposure to JAVA with Microservices and middleware technologies especially IBM middleware technologies and tools
- Technical development, coding, testing, implementation, and maintenance experience to Java applications
- Experience with Oracle Point of Sale application
- 5+ years Web Services (SOAP, REST)/JAVA development experience (J2EE/SOA)
- 5+ years Web services on SOA
- 5+ years Expertise in WSDL, SOAP, XML, REST, JSON and Web services for Java Platform, Enterprise Edition
- Experience or knowledgeable in IBM WMB, WAS and MQ
- Database Knowledge (Oracle)
- Comfortable operating on highly visible assignments, can dive deep into designs, application code, and frameworks, and ultimately provide clear insight and direction to business and IT stakeholders.
- Organized, able to track to a schedule, keep a list of priorities and able to explain status and recommendations to executives.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills is a must
Preferred:
- Experience with these or similar technologies: Docker, AWS, Azure, node.js, Big Data, Cloud Foundry, Angular JS, react/Flux
- Strong knowledge and experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
