Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Client Accounting Executive to join our team at Artex. This is ideal for someone looking to develop their career in client accounting within the insurance and risk management industry. You will support the financial operations of client accounts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent service delivery.

How you'll make an impact

Client Account Support:

• Assist in maintaining and managing client accounts, ensuring accurate recording of financialtransactions.
• Respond to client queries in a timely and professional manner, escalating issues where necessary.
• Support the preparation of clients’ board packs.

Financial Administration:

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including monthly and quarterly account reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly payment runs.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and any other financial reports that may be requested by the client from time to time.

Compliance and Risk Awareness:

• Ensure all financial activities adhere to company policies, regulatory requirements and relevant accounting standards (GAPEE, GAPSME, IFRS,etc.).
• Assist in the preparing and filing quarterly and annual insurance returns to the MFSA.
• Support the identification and resolution of discrepancies or potential risks.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with senior team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Provide administrative support during audits and other financial reviews.

• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support client relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude with a focus on personal and professional development.

Personal attributes, knowledge and experience:

• Partly qualified in Accounting.
• Some experience in financial administration, client accounting, or a related role is advantageous but not essential.
• Knowledge of the insurance or risk management industry is a plus but not required.
