Art Moehn Auto Group is looking for an experienced Used Car Technician to join our growing Used Car Superstore in Jackson, MI.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who enjoys variety and wants to work on a wide range of domestic and import vehicles. Our Used Car Technicians play an important role in getting vehicles inspected, repaired, and ready for our customers.

We are looking for a dependable, quality-minded technician who takes pride in their work, works well with a team, and understands the importance of completing thorough inspections and quality repairs.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Perform thorough mechanical and safety inspections on used vehicles.
• Identify and document safety concerns, maintenance needs, and required repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns.
• Perform repairs based on vehicle needs and technician skill level.
• Communicate inspection findings and repair recommendations with the Sales Department.
• Alert Store Management to significant mechanical concerns or repair problems.
• Help ensure vehicles are properly repaired and ready for sale.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Properly use and maintain shop equipment and tools.
• Work with the team to meet vehicle reconditioning goals.
• Follow all Art Moehn Auto Group policies, procedures, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• State of Michigan Certified Automotive Technician
• Minimum 2 years of professional automotive technician experience
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Experience working on both domestic and import vehicles
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable and quality-focused
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment

COMPENSATION

$60,000+ PER YEAR

Compensation is based on experience, certifications, diagnostic ability, and overall skill level.
