Duties are varied, active, and stimulating with lots of personal interaction and maintain compliance with our Food Control Plan. You  will thrive in a beautiful high end cafe  environment, and enjoy enriching the lives of our residents. You'll also be responsible for:

• Ensuring all customers have a great experience
• Cooking to order breakfast and lunch
• Baking, prepping and serving cabinet food
• Ordering supplies as required
• Set up and pack down each shift
• Maintaining our cafe cleaning, safety, and hygiene standards

To tatou kaitono pai | What you bring

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen and/or cafe  minimum of 2 years
• Exceptional cooking and baking skills
• Excellent food hygiene practices and a commitment to safe working practices
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Flexibility, adaptability and able to work well under pressure with good time management.
• Empathy towards older adults, good interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Honesty, reliability, and integrity.
• Preference to level 4 plus quals

• Full time  5 days per week -  Thurday 1000 - 1500 and Friday to Monday , 0630–1500
