Experienced Flatbed Driver | Steel Hauling

ASB Freight Co. is currently looking for experienced CDL-A flatbed drivers for a full-time position hauling steel.

This position requires previous flatbed and steel-hauling experience, including the ability to properly secure, tarp, and transport loads.

Position Overview

Home Time: Weekly
Freight Type: Flatbed / Steel
Schedule: Full-time
Average Weekly Earnings: Approximately $2,000–$2,100
Pay Frequency: Weekly

Drivers should be comfortable with the physical and safety requirements associated with flatbed freight.

Compensation

Compensation for this position is percentage and mileage based.

• 27% of load revenue
• Additional mileage compensation of $0.60 per mile above the applicable base rate
• Average earnings of approximately $2,000–$2,100 per week
• Weekly direct deposit

A sign-on incentive may be available to eligible drivers.

Actual compensation varies based on assigned freight, mileage, loads, productivity, and applicable pay programs.

Flatbed Experience

This is an experienced-driver position.

Applicants should have hands-on experience with:

• Steel freight
• Load securement
• Tarping
• Flatbed equipment
• Coil hauling

Drivers must be able to safely perform the physical duties associated with securing and preparing flatbed freight for transport.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must:

• Hold a valid Class A CDL
• Have at least 1 year of OTR Class A tractor-trailer experience within the previous 5 years
• Have at least 6 months of recent flatbed experience
• Have previous steel-hauling experience
• Have experience with load securement and tarping
• Hold a current coil-hauling certification
• Be at least 21 years old
• Meet applicable DOT qualification requirements
• Be authorized to work in the United States
