    Job description

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Design and implement data solutions using Big Query and GCP-native services.
    • Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries for data extraction and analysis
    • Build and maintain data pipelines to support reporting and analytics use cases
    • Perform data validation, profiling, and quality checks to ensure data integrity
    • Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and engineers to understand data needs
    • Write Python scripts for automation, orchestration, and lightweight data processing tasks
    • Monitor and improve performance of Big Query workloads and queries
    • Maintain documentation of data flows, transformations, and processes
    Required Skills & Qualifications:
    • 3 - 7 years of experience in data engineering, data analytics or BI development
    • Proven hands-on experience with Google Big Query and GCP data services (e.g., Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Dataflow optional)
    • Strong expertise in SQL, including analytical functions, joins, CTEs, and window functions
    • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python for scripting and automation
    • Understanding of data warehouse concepts, data modelling and normalization
    • Familiarity with version control systems like Git
