We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Developer with proven expertise in healthcare claims processing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, and IMS, and possess a comprehensive understanding of the claims lifecycle, including 837/835 EDI transactions and adjudication processes.
Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications supporting healthcare claims processing.
Analyze business and technical requirements in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Debug, troubleshoot, and enhance existing systems for performance and scalability.
Ensure solutions adhere to healthcare industry standards, including HIPAA compliance.
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers, promoting best practices and coding standards.
Required Skills:Strong proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and IMS.
Hands-on experience with healthcare claims processing, especially 837/835 EDI transactions.
Solid understanding of claims adjudication workflows.
