About the Role" We are looking for a skilled Mainframe Application Developer with expertise in COBOL development to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in CICS/DB2/VSAM/MQ application development and a strong understanding of architecture and design principles. "Job Title" Mainframe Application Developer "Responsibilities" - Utilize advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture to develop Mainframe applications. - Develop applications using CICS/DB2/VSAM/MQ and other technologies such as Java, JSON, JMS, Kafka, API REST services, Spring Boot, WOLA. - Debug applications using tools like Expeditor and ensure high-quality code. - Collaborate with large teams to achieve organizational goals and contribute to building an innovative culture. - Utilize modern programming languages and software skills for business analysis, development, maintenance, and improvement. - Experience with tools like File Aid, Stored Procedures, Endevor, CA-7, NDM, MFTS, s-FTP, XML, CLIST, REXX is a plus. - Experience in financial messaging using SWIFT MT, ISO 20022 pain, pacs, camt message formats is a plus.
"Required Skills" - 10+ years of Mainframe Application / COBOL development experience. - 7+ years of experience in CICS/DB2/VSAM/MQ application development. - Proficiency in developmental toolsets and industry-wide technology trends. - Ability to work in collaborative teams and passion for innovation. - Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages. "Desirable Skills" - Experience with debug tools like Expeditor. - Knowledge of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement.
