Senior Software Development Engineer:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of robust APIs and platform services powering 3rd-party and automotive integrations
- Serve as a technical lead and trusted advisor for the Business Development team on partner-enablement solutions
- Architect scalable systems that handle high availability, performance, and security across multiple environments
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of engineering excellence
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across product, BD, and Alexa platform teams to shape technical strategy and execution
Basic Qualifications:
- 6+ years of software development experience, including system design and architecture
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
- Deep experience building and scaling API-driven platforms or complex distributed systems
- Proven ability to work across organizational boundaries and influence technical direction
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in automotive tech stacks, embedded systems, or smart devices
- Familiarity with voice assistant platforms, connected services, or Alexa APIs
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives or greenfield projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer experience and partner enablement
